Modest is Hottest

Hey guys!

Been awhile since we had some modesty updates...a little over a month, I think.

I have a little bit of a different way I go about showing my thoughts on modesty. Julie shows you where you can purchase some uber cute modest clothing, which I think is awesome. I don't want to step into her approach, and so as you may have noticed, I have a different one.

My approach is to show you a bunch of modest styles, to show you many different angles, to give you some spark, to think up new styles you may not have thought of. That way, you can find your own modest style, and recreate what you want to out of what I show. I love Julie's approach, and since I have a different one, this way we can give you the best of both worlds, doubling what you get to see.

With that, let's dive in.

Here are some more ideas on how to stay fashionably modest this summer!

Now, obviously, you'd want to accessorize this some, but it's very cute. Neutrals are good. Think about all of the things you could do with this:
-cute cardigan
-belt
-long necklace
-scarf
etc

Seen things like this a lot lately.
Go with a plain skirt of a bright color, and a patterned top of a darker color. Way cute.
You can also reverse it, I've seen it that way often, maybe MORE often.
Plain colored top and patterned skirt.
You decide which way you like it better, if you like it at all. :)

Dark top, bright skirt. No print. I actually like this look a lot. The shirt has detail, no print is needed. :) Way cute, I love to wear my skirts at that length, and tucked in.

I like this look, but as it's summer, maybe roll the sleeves up on the cardigan? Haha, just a thought. They threw some red into this. Mixed it up a little bit. Nice accent.

Jean jackets are just too cute. Throw some nice yellow and an awesome neutral print skirt in, and you get something like this...
I would go for a lightweight scarf, since it's summer, or go no scarf at all, go necklace. :)

Flowy, ruffly, cute. Could wear to church.

Too cute pink plaid swimwear. See the cute hints of teal and yellow in there? I love that suit.

By this point, you're probably sensing that I love yellow....
Plus, I'm a real sucker for collared shirts. Classy. I don't know whether they're "out" yet or not, and frankly, I don't care, I still love colored jeans.
This may look plain to some of you. (Or maybe not, what do I know about you, after all?)
Think about what you can do with this:
-First, just pick yourself an accent color. Any color. For this, I'd suggest either bright red, coral, bright yellow, or turquoise.
-Second:
Get a cardigan, belt, necklace, scarf or a combinations of the listed in that color that you chose!
Third:
Get some bright shoes, either flats or heels, that match.
Can't you totally see it?
Let's say I picked red to accent.
This dress.
Bright red heels.
Bright red bracelet
Bright red cardigan
Red earrings.
This totally became uber cute.

However, I kind of like it just how it is, you could wear it plain too...
SO. MANY. POSSIBILITIES.
Love the jean jacket, once again. The coral gives it almost a summery feel, no?
Excuse more yellow, but this is too cute.
What I was talking about--the reverse.
This has the neutral print on the skirt, and the plain color on the shirt. I think I might like it better this way.
Idk about you...
So I love this diagonal ruffle look thing going on here.
Too cute. Love love love!
I <3 yellow and blue together. hence, i'm actually redoing my room blue and yellow this summer. :)
how cute is this?
you could wear it to church or somewhere else, too!
Really like this look.
Your thoughts?
Pink and navy together are too cute.
Love stripes too, especially for summer! :)

This is also a cute look, I love love love to belt things. Often pulls everything together, if you'll excuse my lame pun, "cinches" it.

THAT'S ALL FOR NOW
MORE LATER
ENJOY!
